Honesty, Hard work, Integrity, and Commitment

The Bluestone Organization is excited to announce a new 101-unit residential apartment building located at 90-11 160th and 90-14 161st Streets, Jamaica, Queens. The company was founded in 1927, with a vision to support and embrace the values of honesty, hard-work, integrity, and commitment to a region’s people. The Bluestone Organization brings this tradition of quality building to the forefront with Norman Towers. Committing to sustaining the environment and passing the benefits onto our residents, Norman Towers is a green building for quiet enjoyment.

Green Features

As part of Bluestone’s initiative to protect the environment, Norman Towers boasts state-of-the-art, energy efficient central air and heating, lighting and Energy Star appliances, helping to conserve energy as well as add money-saving value to our residents. Steps from downtown Jamaica, the building also features a designer decorated lobby; rich, carpeted corridors; and beautifully landscaped green-rooftop terraces.

Additionally, the apartments feature solid oak wood floors, designer kitchens with European-style cabinets, elegant bathrooms with ceramic tile and individual climate controls.

Public and Private Financing

Norman Towers is being financed through a combination of tax-exempt bond financing and low-income housing credits from the NYC Housing Development Corporation (HDC), state low-income housing credits from NYS Housing and Community Renewal, program subsidy funds from NYC HDC and NYC Housing Preservation and Development, capital funds from the Queens Borough President Helen Marshall and Council Members James Gennaro and Leroy Comrie, and developer equity. Tax Credit equity and construction financing are provided by Goldman Sachs. This mix of financing allows us to offer greater quality housing opportunities to a wide range of incomes.
